More information of AC /DC Geared Motor
The role of gear reduction motors
The gear reduction motor is simply explained as reducing the deceleration, increasing the torque, and improving the required driving effect; However, the power of the reducer cannot be exceeded, and the inertia of the load is reduced while decelerating, and the inertia is reduced to the square of the reduction ratio. When purchasing gear reducers, the inertia value should be looked at. The main functions of the gear reducer:
1. It can accelerate and decelerate at the same time, which is often called a variable speed gearbox.
2. Changing the driving direction, such as worm gear drive, can transfer the torque vertically to another rotating shaft.
3. Change the torque. Under the same power conditions, the faster the gear, the smaller the torque and the greater the noise of the shaft, and vice versa, the greater the torque, the smaller the noise.
